Empowering certification product integrity
About Us
International Accredited Certification Bodies
The IACB is a globally incorporated society comprising certification bodies accredited by IOAS or ISO/IEC 17065 for organic certification.
Our mission at IACB is to provide comprehensive support and information to our members regarding accreditation, standards, regulations, and certification processes. We facilitate the exchange of knowledge and cooperation among certifiers through various channels such as discussion groups, networking events, and training sessions. With a diverse membership spanning the globe, IACB boasts a wealth of collective expertise, offering a unique opportunity to stay abreast of local certification issues.
IACB developed an EU Equivalent Standard that has been used by certifiers for many years. This standard, recognized by accreditation bodies like IOAS, consolidates and streamlined EU organic regulations governing production and processing. Now that certifiers are implementing the new EU regulation 2018/848, IACB continues to work together to provide training and resources to our members.
Continuously, we are engaged in projects that impact our members' operations, fostering connectivity and knowledge exchange among certification body members.
